HOSA Competes in Orlando, FL

Health Occupations teacher, Kaye Beatty, recently accompanied 2012 grads Taylor Ackerman and Lauren Bartling to Orlando, Florida for the National HOSA Competition. The conference was attended by more than 7300 students from 50 states as far away as Hawaii, Alaska and even Puerto Rico. 


Taylor Ackerman placed 9th nationally in the spelling bee.  She went out on a 9 syllable word; leaving out one syllable in her excitement that she knew how to spell it.
