M-Step - State Testing Begins Tomorrow, April 14

Parents - On Tuesday, April 14, our 8th graders will begin taking the M-Step, which is the new state assessment that replaced the MEAP.  All 7th, 8th and 11th graders will be required to take the on-line assessment that measures math, English language arts, science and social studies.

Please make sure your son or daughter has at least eight hours of sleep and a healthy breakfast on test days.  In addition, due to testing regulations, students MUST finish a test on the same day it is started.  Therefore, if your student has an appointment or needs to leave school early, we will reschedule their test for another day.  Otherwise, we are hopeful that we have full attendance on test days.  

8th graders will be taking the assessment this week and next according to the following schedule:

• Tuesday - Thursday (April 14 -16) - Math 
• Friday (April 17) - Social Studies
• Monday - Thursday (April 20 - 23) - English Language Arts
