7th Grade M-Step Begins Tomorrow

Parents - On Tuesday, April 28, our 7th graders will begin taking the M-Step, which is the new state assessment that replaced the MEAP.  All 7th, 8th and 11th graders will be required to take the on-line assessment that measures math, English language arts, science and social studies.

Please make sure your son or daughter has at least eight hours of sleep and a healthy breakfast on test days.  In addition, due to testing regulations, students MUST finish a test on the same day it is started.  Therefore, if your student has an appointment or needs to leave school early, we will reschedule their test for another day.  Otherwise, we are hopeful that we have full attendance on test days.  

7th graders will be taking the assessment this week and next according to the following schedule:

• Tuesday - Thursday (April 28 -30) - Math 
• Monday - Thursday (May 4 - 7) - English Language Arts 
• Wednesday (May 13) - Science
