415 students participate in A Day of Caring

Running with his teammate to first base, junior Alex spends his Tuesday morning at the Bergmann Center for his Day of Caring activity. He, along with many other students from Mr. Tom Shultz and Mrs. Kirstie Swanson's seminars, played kickball and made ice cream sundaes with the people of the Bergmann Center. "The goal is for students to realize they are all part of a community...we're all in this together and we have to help each other," organizer Mrs. Gail Cherry said. This is the fourth year CHS has participated. A Day of Caring is done is conjunction with the United Way.
